Dr. Brown strives to create a comfortable and informative experience for her patients, ultimately helping them to achieve the best vision and eye health possible. Her outgoing personality and friendly, energetic attitude allow her to make meaningful connections with patients.
Dr. Brown moved from Ancaster to Brant County in 2013 and is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide exceptional eye care to the community she lives in.
Dr. Brown completed a Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University and went on to obtain a Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry. She received the Trustees Scholarship and graduated cum laude. Through hard work and compassion for her profession, she became a member of the Tomb & Key Honorary Society and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society.
As a contact lens wearer herself, Dr. Brown is happy to share her experience and absolutely thrives on the challenge of fitting specialty contact lenses to patients of all ages with complex prescriptions!
Dr. Brown has a passion for managing ocular disease. During her studies in Chicago, she cared for an underserved population in a large urban setting. She diagnosed and managed both common and rare ocular diseases on a daily basis and developed a passion for this area of optometry. She enjoys providing compassionate care to patients who have diabetic eye conditions, glaucoma and disorders of the retina.
Don't let her high heels fool you… Dr. Brown loves skiing, fishing, kayaking, and following sports. She particularly enjoys cheering for the Leafs, Blue Jays, and Packers.
Dr. Brown looks forward to meeting new patients and providing outstanding comprehensive eye care to each patient that sits in her exam chair.
